Real Barrier Cicarelief Cream is a soothing protective cream that helps irritated skin recover from external irritations. This soothing, calming cream is formulated with high concentrations of Calamine to help protect the skin from outside irritations, Panthenol to calm and Madecassoside to soothe. It also helps promote skin recovery after minor dermatological procedures as well as during and after monthly breakouts and blemishes. This pink, powdery cream assists in relieving the symptoms caused by exposure to irritating plants such as, but not limited to, poison ivy and poison oak. It is also ideal for use on sunburned skin. Continued applications of Cicarelief Cream to the affected areas can help avoid the use of steroid creams which are known to cause thinning of the skin and increased pore size.
Developed by the real barrier experts: MLE Real Barrier formula deep moisturizes with patented MLE technology and ceramides. It helps create a similar lamellar structure to, and the characteristics of, human skin lipids. It aids in restoring and strengthening a weakened skin barrier with what appears to be a Maltese Cross - a unique cross-shaped pattern, that is found in the lamellar structure of a healthy skin barrier. There is a definite similarity between the natural lipid structure of the human skin barrier and the lamellar structure of MLE.
